Known as “Stiffy Fingers,” these enormous aluminum sculptures are an impact to any art collection. Durable enough to be outside in all kinds of weather, the Bauxite Hands serve as an arresting visual signpost in any ordinary setting, and as a neutral object in a busy display of artworks. The hands are the first part of a series of anatomy sculptures in aluminum planned for 2020. The first set of hands are on display at Art Mountain, the retreat Donnelly has made in the Pennsylvania woods outside Yellow Creek Park.
